Inner World [Sometimes named "Shinaga" as shortening of shiroinaga's name]
The inner world of Serina's, a manifestation of hers and her zanpakuto's reiatsu, takes the form of a rather large world with a villiage, mountains, bits of forest, field, and even a lake with a river that seems to go on intot he distance without end. It experiences daytime and nighttime, weather, and seasons. But what makes this world so different from a normal inner world is that it almost exists on it's own plane of existence [Well, it does and it doesn't....you'll understand in a moment.]
Because Shiroinaga has the unique ability to change owners, the inner world must be able to detach and reattach itself to each new owner, so it's a semi-separate plane from other worlds, but still existing within them. [Okay, so normally the inner world of a soul reaper is their own, and their zanpakuto resides in it. When the shinigami dies, that world crumbles and their zanpakuto disappears because it was connected to thema nd that world. In the case of a zanpakuto whom can have multiple owners, it is necessary to have it's OWN inner world to reside in, which is separate from other worlds, but can still connect and become his current owners inner world until their death. That's basically how this inner world works.,...don't think too hard on it though, you might get an aneurysm, I almost did.]
Due to Shiroinaga's ability, and the terms of which this inner realm of sorts exists, it is able to house other beings inside of it as permanent citizens. Serina found that not all arrancar are entirely evil or bad, and that those arrancar while -- they did not want to die and be reborn in Rukongai -- they did want to be at peace and away from the soul reapers. She offered them to take refuge in Shiroinaga's world, and they accepted. But do not be fooled, as the world does not contain solely arrancar, but also normal human spirits, and even a few shinigami whom she, after living in the poverty of Rukongai, decided they deserved better fates than to simply die and go there, or whatever fate lies for a shinigami. There are also a few quincy here and there in the villiage. The cause of her exile was for "harboring beings of which are an immediate threat to your squad and souls you protect." despite their more or less docile nature. In other canons (or at least, something NOT active in any roleplay, Arturo Plateado, whom is only canon in two Bleach Games, is also in her inner world as rather than being taken down after escaping 1,000 years of imprisonment, Serina managed to speak to Arturo and convince him to join her world. In such canons, Arturo is protective of her on the level of which Shiroinaga is.)
Bankai Effects on Shinaga: Nowadays, a protective "bubble" is put up around the residential town to keep the effects out. The original affect of bankai on Shinaga was that the skies would darken into a pitch-black night and color would leave that world; houses would become more decrepit; plants would become dead and water became noxious. Now days however, a protective bubble is put up since there are beings actually living in Shinaga now, so the bankai does not alter the town, but it does still altar the rest of the inner world.
